RCV Engines Ltd based in Wimborne, Dorset are developing small capacity 4-stroke engines based upon its own patented technology. The Company has engine development projects within the motor-cycle and unmanned air vehicle industries and is planning for a further increase in development programs for these and other applications. 

RCV Development Engineer

RCV Engines are seeking a capable development engineer to work in a small team. The candidate should have experience in the following disciplines:

• Engine build
• Engine test and development
• Engine test installations
• Test data acquisition and post processing

The candidate will be a key member of a team developing new engines for model aircraft, unmanned air vehicle and motorcycle applications (10 to 150cc). The candidate will need to be highly self motivated, and have good organisational and communication skills combined with good hands on understanding of engine fundamentals. Proven competence in an engine development environment is a requirement.

Position:            Initially contract with a view to permanent in future.

Salary Scale: £30-£40k depending upon experience.
